Who is our therapist?
Morgan is a Registered Social Worker (RSW) with the OCSWSSW and located in the GTA. She has earned her Master of Social Work degree with a specialization in Mental Health & Health from the University of Toronto, and she received her Bachelor of Social Work with a minor in Psychology from Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio. This educational background gives her a better understanding of how systemic barriers may impact her clients on an individual level.
Morgan has previous experience in providing both individual and group therapy from a client-focused, trauma-informed, and harm-reduction perspective. She works with individuals who are coping with a variety of mental health concerns, such as depression, anxiety, trauma, stress, and grief. She utilizes an eclectic approach with clients, using a combination of the following evidence-based techniques:
